Castorina has a long history of compassion in the Staten Island community for those who are underprivileged, hurting, sick, poor, and alone.

Mike began his time as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx DA’s office in 2011 where he honed his craft prosecuting misdemeanors and later major offenses.

Mike began his career in public service in 2006 when he was hired as an aide to then-Minority Leader James Oddo. While there, he learned the gold standard in constituent services and helped many residents that came seeking assistance.

In 2016 Castorina ran for and was elected to the New York State Assembly as a member from the 62nd Assembly District, representing people from Tottenville all the way to Todt Hill.
